Join LSR Today

If you are interested in joining LSR please register below.

Entry into regular LSR is by invitation after passing an assessment. We only hold assessments a couple of times a year, so it's worth adding yourself to the waiting list. Your child will be required to ski from the top and is assessed on their technical skiing skill and their ability to perform controlled parallel turns on the steep section. We ideally require a minimum of Hillend level 6/7.

If you are Ex-LSR and wish to become a LSR Member again or an LSR Associate Member, please join the appropriate waiting list through the online system.

If you wish to become an LSR Associate Member to solely access our Race Support, Indoor Training, *Camps, Scottish Snow Training, etc., and not our weekly training - proof of ability is required along with a considerable race record at a reasonable level and LSR Head Coach & Committee discretion (both parties need to be in agreement).

Please note that full LSR Members will always be given priority over LSR Associate Members for all LSR organised activities/sessions.

If you are unsure about your child's level of skiing for entry, please watch our entry criteria videos here

Trainee Membership

The LSR Membership has been simplified from previous years and has become more flexible, to accommodate more training both home and aboard.

The LSR Membership gives you access to all the benefits list below and more.

If you wish to take part in regular LSR Training on weekday evenings at Hillend, you will have to complete an entry assessment. The regular pathway for all LSR trainees starts on a Wednesday night - Introduction to Race Training, 6 - 7.30pm. There may be occasions where a child is invited straight into Thursday nights' U10/12 or U14/16 sessions, depending on their skiing ability and/or age. Masters, U18s and U21s will be assessed and invited to join Monday night. You can view the pathways through LSR here.
